Collection of Your Personal Information

NLC requires you to enter personal information, including your name, e-mail address, home address and telephone number when you contact us with an inquiry through our Web site. This personal information is used for the sole purpose of contacting you with a response to your inquiry. Your personal information is deleted upon NLC responding to any questions, comments or concerns within your inquiry.

If you choose to place an order through National Loan Closers we require you to provide your name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address, phone number and credit card information. This personal information is only used for order fulfillment, credit authorization, and to contact you regarding NLC business. Personal information for the role of credit card authorization may be shared with a third-party credit card processing center in accordance with all state and federal consumer information privacy laws.

NLC also collects certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, referring Web site addresses and pages visited within NLC Web site. This information is used by NLC for the operation of our Web site, to maintain quality of the services offered, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the NLC Web site.

NLC encourages you to review the privacy statements of the Web site you choose to link to from the NLC Web site so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. NLC is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the NLC Web site.

Use of Your Personal Information

NLC collects and uses your personal information to operate its Web site and deliver the content and services you have requested. Your personal information may be used to inform you of other products or services available from NLC. NLC may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

NLC does not sell, rent or lease its member/customer lists to third parties. NLC may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

NLC may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of NLC; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the NLC services or members of the public.

Control of Your Personal Information

As an NLC member, you may log in to the NLC Community and select Membership Manager to view and/or edit your personal information at any time. Please keep in mind that changing your address after an order has been placed will not change the shipping address for the order. To make a change to a shipping address after placing an order, you will need to contact customer service at 1-877-925-6737, or via email at: admin @

NLC urges you to be careful only to enter information on your profile listing that you are comfortable sharing with registered users.

In each case described above, you will be asked to make your requests while logged into a secure area, so that NLC can associate your preferences with a particular account. This security safeguard prevents someone else from accessing your personal information or making choices about the usage and control of your personal information.

As part of NLC you may receive periodic e-mails informing you of technical service issues, product surveys, featured news articles and news about NLC products and services. Most of these e-mails provide an option for you to unsubscribe to future mailings.

Security of Your Personal Information

NLC is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Use of Cookies

NLC uses "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, as a member of the NLC, a cookie helps recall your specific information on subsequent visits enabling you to access such sections from the same computer without the need to log-in multiple times. These cookies are used solely for session management and do not contain any personal information.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.
